How do I... Make An Appointment?

Consultations are by appointment only. Routine appointments are for 10 minutes. All appointments can be made by telephoning the following number:

If you are aware that your consultation may be lengthy, or you have several health problems to discuss, please request a double appointment.

We operate advanced access. This means that we aim to provide appointments on the day, although this may not be with a GP of your choice. We advise that you book your appointment near to the time that you require it. This also helps us to reduce the amount of missed appointments.

How do I... Obtain A Home Visit?

Home visits should, whenever possible, be requested between 8.30 - 10.00am. After this time doctors may have set out on visits and will need to make repeat journeys. Visits will be assessed on medical needs and you may be asked to speak to the doctor first and also urged to attend the surgery. Your co-operation in this matter will be appreciated. If you can possibly attend the surgery then please try to do so.

How do I... Obtain Test Results?

If any investigations are done during your consultation, please phone the surgery for the results in one week. Test results and hospital letters normally reach us by mid-morning and are then always checked by the doctors. We would therefore request that you telephone after 11.00am for test results.
