Practice NursesWe have two practice nurses and a health care assistant who are all part-time. Appointments with a nurse are available five days a week, though not necessarily in both premises each day. Our receptionists will be able to give you details of the nurse clinics. The rest of the practice team are:-Practice Manager Ms Barbara Graham Practice Nurses The practice nurses are available daily, by appointment, for dressings, blood tests, ear syringing, vaccinations, blood pressure checks, etc. Please ask at the reception desk for an appointment with the nurse. Ancillary Staff Mrs Patricia Cowie We also have a part-time member of staff who is employed by the East Highland Local Health Care Co-operative (LHCC):- Practice Mental Health Nurse Alex Hamilton Medical students are regularly attached to the practice as part of their undergraduate medical training and you may be asked if you would be willing to consult with them under GP supervision. District Nurses, Health Visitors & Midwives We have a district nurse (Heather Smith) and health visitor (Christine Gilmour) who are attached to the practice, and therefore cover almost all of our practice area. They can be contacted by telephoning Dingwall (01349) 862220 (district nurse) or (01349) 866410 (health visitors). All our antenatal clinics are midwife-run and are held weekly at both premises. Should you wish to speak to the midwife at any other time they may be contacted on Dingwall (01349) 864571. |
